Dhanyo startet writing,  
composing and singing her own songs in 2021 .
Without any  previous knowledge or experience.
Together with a music teacher, who did the recordings in his school, she published her songs as "one takes" on Soundcloud as a first step. She plays acoustic guitar on the recordings and the piano accompaniment is the music teacher Markus Dahmen.
In 2023 a musicians´ request for a singer brought her into contact with the musician and composer Dirk Groenewold(D.G.Music).
Together they founded the band Dhanyo. The meaning of "Dhanyo" is blessed.
The songs were approached and published for the first time as a band project in October 2023.  
After the first releases the musicians Justin and Heike joined as band members.
Since October 2024 Matthias is the perfect new bass player.
